I AM writing to congratulate Lesley Hill, her team and all the dancers on another excellent show, Attitude Enhanced, at the Grand Opera House on Saturday, May 2.

How do they come up with all the different routines every year and still keep up the same excellent standard?

I noticed a lot more boys this year. Well done lads, especially George, Jolley and Reece. Totally different styles of dance to the same music. George’s electricity solo singing and dancing. The beautiful waltz to Moon River by Reece and Melissa, so calm and elegant after the frantic all action group dances. Then later their Latin dance. How does he move his hips like that, and his face?

The clever use of props, hoops, skipping ropes, crisp tubes and the set of bars for cell block tango. very risqué. A bit of a shock with the black stockings and suspenders, very relieved to see it was the senior dancers, aged 18 to 35.

The Little Dots are always adorable. Well done to the two older girls who lead them.

“Colours of the wind” with all the girls dressed as Indian squaws was wonderful. “Cold as ice”, with the bigger girls in silver tunic, silver wigs and long white socks was very effective.

I also liked the Tarzan dance with Tarzan, Jane and monkeys dancing between trees with leaves twisted around one leg and one arm with a large leaf in each hand to wave about. Very clever costumes (I am biased – it is my granddaughter’s group).

Well done to you all, the whole show was amazing.

To Lesley, have a wonderful wedding day. That must have been a doddle to arrange compared with the annual show.
