PUPILS, their families and staff were able to look to the past, present and future at The Mount School’s Foundation Weekend.
The private all-girls school in York welcomed five former, current and future heads to the weekend event.
They were former heads Joyce Pickard, June Ellis and Barbara Windle; current head Diana Gant and the school’s incoming principal, Julie Lodrick.
Mrs Lodrick said: “A gathering of four heads and a head-in waiting must be something of a record for any school. It was fascinating to hear some of their combined experience of The Mount and the changes they have made over the years. I look forward to continuing their work at The Mount, and providing an education of lasting values for children of the modern age.”
