THE evening sunshine smiled on sixth-formers and staff from Huntington School when they held their black-tie leaving ball at York Racecourse.
The annual event was attended by a total of 134 students and 43 staff.
Students arrived in style, in a variety of vehicles, including a double-decker bus, as horse and carriage, a stretch limo and a classic Bentley.
A champagne reception and four-course dinner were followed by a disco and the chance to “dance until dawn”.
Both students and staff took to the dance floor for a Strictly Come Dancing-style session.
