ENTRIES are still being taken for the York Open Bowls Tournament, which will be held from July 27 to August 1.
A host of leading players from last year’s tournament have already entered and places can be booked up to and including May 21, prior to the draw on May 22.
Entries can be submitted on forms issued to all clubs in the York area, or by writing to Graham Brooke at 1 Mount Park, Riccall, York, YO19 6QU, or by phoning him on 01757 248384.
Malton tourney
MALTON Bowling Club stage their 24th annual triples competition on June 6 and 7. The entry fee is £7.50 per triple and entries must be sent to John Woodall, 30 Princess Court, Malton, YO17 7HL, by tomorrow.
