TRADERS from York’s monthly Farmers’ Market and the weekday traders from the city centre’s Newgate Market are to set up their stalls outside two of York’s largest shopping precincts.
There will be a spectrum of stalls outside the northern doors of the York Designer Outlet on Friday.
And on Saturday, May 23, at Monks Cross, between the main car park and the shopping park precinct.
The events are aimed at encouraging shoppers to join their regulars at Parliament Street and Newgate.
Darren Lovatt, City of York’s markets manager, said: “This is a living advert of the quality and diversity of stalls that can be found in the regular market place.”
