Dunnington Magpies toppled Brandesburton 6-4 in an exciting Hull Boys League tussle.

It capped a double for the Magpies, who earlier in the season beat the same opposition 3-2.

Alex Brent beat the offside trap to hammer home the opener before Oliver Burt stepped forward to convert a penalty.

An own goal from the luckless Luke Slater halved the lead, which was wiped out when Brandesburton levelled with the final kick of the first half.

But Connor Richardson smashed home a left foot volley to restore the Magpies lead, Matthew Playle also on target to make it 4-2.

After Brandesburton countered, Richardson outpaced the defence to make it 5-3. Again after the Hull side retrived another goal, Brent leathered home the sixth to propel Dunnington nine points clear at the top.
