Shoulder captain Ian Jones won the last frame to seal a share of the points for his side.
Dick Turpin fought back from 3-1 down at Mitre ‘B’, but Chris Burley completed his double to help Mitre to a 5-3 win. Dringhouses ‘A’ beat Crystal Palace ‘B’ 6-2, with Nigel MacDonald winning a seven-ball frame and Graham Pinder scoring a win-double.
Crystal Palace ‘A’ and Dringhouses ‘B’ drew 4-4, with Palace’s Glenn Bolton claiming the last frame.
Castle Howard Ox ‘B’ took a 3-0 lead against Clifton Hotel thanks to a double from Mike Gibson, but Clifton secured a draw through Ian Baxter.
York Health Club won 6-2 at Fulford Arms, with Andy Sanderson and Keith Watkinson taking two frames each.
Gary Bolton saved Fulford from a whitewash with two frames.
