THE problem of deciding what to wear in the morning was made a lot easier for staff and children at a York nursery, who decided to spend the day in their pyjamas.
Busy Bees Nursery in Rawcliffe decided to hold the pyjama day as a way to raise money for the Rehab UK Brain Injury Centre.
Nursery manager Ali Cousins said: “Initially, Rehab UK contacted us and, because there are children benefiting from this charity, we thought it would be a nice one to raise money for.
“We decided to have a fun pyjama day and everyone had a great time. Staff and children got involved and we got people to sponsor the day.
“Some of the younger children were a little confused but most were very excited and they had great fun,” she said.
The day eventually brought in just over £423 for the brain injury charity.
