WHY, oh why, is everyone harping on about the Yorkshire Wheel?

It’s getting as boring as all the talk and non-movement over the council offices in Hungate, and the Barbican closure/reopen/closure, etc.

Why didn’t they just keep the wheel where it was at the National Railway Museum?

It was an ideal location, close to the train station, close to car parks, and a spit away from central town and bus routes, therefore accessible by everyone (except those coming by aeroplane – or is that next on the agenda?).

If it ain’t broke – don’t fix it.
