ALEX Brent scored a late winner for Dunnington Magpies Under-18s as they beat Brandesburton 3-2 in the Hull Boys Sunday Football League.
Both sides went into the game undefeated and visitors Brandesburton opened the scoring with a looping shot from the edge of the penalty box.
Brent equalised when he latched onto a fine ball from midfield and rounded the ’keeper for a tap-in.
Dunnington defender Luke Slater then scored an own goal to hand Brandesburton a 2-1 half-time lead.
Slater made amends by supplying the crosses for striker Martin Day to make it 2-2 and for Brent to net the winner.
Brandesburton had a player red-carded with five minutes remaining.
