SWIMMING coach Dawn Martland is plunging headlong into her new role with the ‘top squad’ at York City Baths Club.
The former Selby Tiger Sharks Swimming Club coach switched to York last month and is currently putting the city’s leading youngsters through their paces in the pool.
She said: “It’s really good – I am enjoying it. We have got some really talented kids.”
Competitions are now getting under way in the wake of the Christmas break and Brayton-based Martland is keen for her 30-strong squad to get back into the swing of things.
