IN-FORM Bishopthorpe White Rose Under-13s cruised into the semi-finals of the York Minor League Cup with a 12-0 victory over Woodthorpe Wanderers.

The third round tie was one-way traffic as the division one leaders stayed on course for a league and cup double.

Neither goalkeeper was troubled early on, but then White Rose upped their game.

Sam Kitson opened the scoring from close range before Luke Robinson added two goals.

Jordan Outerbridge also got on the scoresheet to give Bishopthorpe a 4-0 half-time lead.

The second half produced eight unanswered goals for Bishopthorpe.

Ash Robson, Noah Culpin, Billy Chadwick, Outerbridge, Samuel Thornhill and Tom Hawksby all netted, while Robinson scored twice to take his personal tally to four goals.

Woodthorpe battled hard to the end and excellent displays from their ’keeper and centre-backs ensured the scoreline was limited to 12.
