TIM Walford reckons Motorid is going to have to drive to victory at Doncaster this afternoon if he's to go to Cheltenham in March.
The Sherriff Hutton trainer's four-year-old runs in the St Leger Tickets on Sale 2nd February Juvenile Novices' Hurdle at 3.05pm.
Walford believes it is a two horse race between Motarid and Howard Johnson's Silk Drum, but thinks the 10lb advantage he has over his County Durham-based rival could prove the difference.
Motarid has finished runner-up in both his hurdle starts to date, narrowly being touched off at Doncaster before Christmas.
Walford said: "It's a two horse race, I think he has a chance. He's blinkered again and he has got to win if he is going to go to Cheltenham."
