Dave Brooks junior took the honours at a canter in the Selby Canal angling match from peg 11.
Fishing under the Cheshire Angling banner, Brooks used punch at six metres and 11m, taking roach to 4oz from each as he worked his way to a 12lb 12oz finish.
The day’s winning Garbolino Ossett side were well led by Mick Lodge at peg two, where roach and rudd responded to pinkie over groundbait and gave him 7lb 7oz, enough to grab a close-run second place.
