We are all very angry over the very poor judgement used in the Barbican fiasco (What now?, The Press, January 15).
Perhaps a glimmer of hope lies with the City of York Council team looking at myplace funding for a grant of up to £5 million for a city centre facility for young people?
If a new, community-led, Barbican Association were a partner in such a bid, it might just give it the edge, and bring in the investment the site sorely needs.
