WINTER cricket coaching for York Cricket Club’s juniors gets under way next week.
The Clifton Park club will hold sessions for youngsters from Under-9s to U15s at St Olave’s School, Clifton.
The U9s will be training on Mondays from January 12 to April 6, from 6pm to 7.30pm, with the U11s sessions on Wednesdays from January 14 to April 8, from 7pm to 8.30pm.
Coaching for U13s will be held on Fridays from January 16 to April 3, from 6pm to 7.30pm.
The U15s will be at St Olave’s from Tuesday, January 20 to Tuesday, February 24, from 7pm to 8.30pm, before joining the senior sides, who will net at St Peter’s School.
The cost of the full coaching course is £40 for U9s, U11s and U13s, with the U15s costing £25.
The coaching sessions for U11s, U13s and U15s will move outdoors at Clifton Park from Friday, April 17, at 6pm.
The U9s will train in the outdoor nets from Monday, April 20, at 6pm.
