CHICK-LIT fans are in for a treat when a best-selling author pops into a York library to promote her latest book.

Adele Parks will be at Explore Acomb Library learning centre on Wednesday, February 4, to talk about her new novel, Tell Me Something. Like the novel, the evening will have an Italian theme, with a glass of Italian wine and various treats on offer to holders of winning tickets, including a meal for two donated by La Vecchia Scuola, Petergate, and a £25 voucher from Italian deli and café, Olio & Farina, in Blake Street.

Adele Parks has written seven best-selling novels, including Girls’ Night In, which has been published in over twenty countries.

The event starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5, including the glass of wine, and are available from Explore Acomb Library Learning Centre on 01904 552651 or from the Central Library helpdesk on 01904 552815.
