A THIEF has struck in a York village.
North Yorkshire Police say they’re investigating the theft of a ride-on mower from Strensall.
It happened between October 1 and 2, and the mower was taken from a shed by at a property in Sheriff Hutton Road.
The mower was later found abandoned outside St Helen's Church, Sheriff Hutton.
A police spokesman said: “This CCTV image shows a man sitting on the ride-on mower.
“If you have any information that could assist our investigation, please get in touch.
