Top York ale producer Brew York have taken the biscuit with two new ales featuring our favourite tea-break treats!
The award-winning brewery at Walmgate and Handley Park has launched the beers in a release of three different brews yesterday (Tue).
"Custard Cream", is a white stout that the brewery says “perfectly captures the essence of the classic British biscuit. Expect rich vanilla, creamy sweetness, and buttery biscuit notes, all in a smooth, golden brew.”
"Mookies & Cream Imperial Tonkoko” is inspired by cookies and cream biscuits.

The brewery said: “This variation of our popular Imperial Tonkoko offers a rich biscuit base with a sweet, creamy aftertaste—delivering the beloved flavours of our imperial milk stout with a delicious twist.”
Brew York co-founder and managing director Wayne Smith said: "We go through so many biscuits here at Brew York HQ that it just made sense to use them as inspiration for our latest beer creations. Mookies & Cream and Custard Cream are the perfect blend of two things we love—crafting great beer and indulging in classic biscuits."
Both beers went on sale on Tuesday in the Brew York Taproom and Beer Hall in Walmgate, as well as on the Brew York webstore: www.brewyork.co.uk/shop.
