A BOY has been hospitalised after being punched in the eye in a York suburb.
Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses after an assault took place in Acomb earlier this month.
The attack happened at approximately 5.20pm on Tuesday September 3 in Ridgeway, Acomb.

“The victim was walking down the street with a friend when he was assaulted by two men. Following the incident, the victim required treatment in hospital,” said a spokesperson for the force.
The suspects are described as both male and aged between 14 and 17.
Police are appealing to any members of the public who were in the area at the time, anyone still have dashcam footage, doorbell video footage, or any other information that can help to identify the suspects to get in touch.
