A woman was nearly involved in a collision with a vehicle at a York zebra crossing, police said.
North Yorkshire Police is now appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following the incident.
It happened at East Parade zebra crossing, Heworth, at 8pm on Friday, September 20 and involved an unidentified vehicle, the force said.
A police spokesperson said: "A woman was waiting to cross at East Parade zebra crossing when a Deliveroo delivery driver stopped to let her do so.
"At this time, another vehicle has overtaken the delivery driver through the crossing almost colliding with the woman pedestrian.
"The delivery driver has possibly then attempted to catch up with the vehicle to obtain details, but it is not known if they ever did.
"We are appealing for help to locate the delivery driver and the driver of the unknown vehicle."
