A man has used a microphone to shout racially and religiously motivated abuse in a North Yorkshire coastal town, police say.
North Yorkshire Police said it happened in Church Street in Whitby between 1pm and 3pm yesterday (September 22).
A force spokesperson said it is appealing for information and video footage about the reported hate-related public incident.
The spokesperson said: We’re particularly appealing for further information from any member of the public present at the time who may have been impacted by this and for anyone with any mobile phone video or CCTV footage of the incident.”
