A TOPPING-out ceremony has been held at the Scarborough site of Scheider Electric.
The French owned company this week announced a £42million expansion of the site, creating 200 new jobs.
The ceremony was attended by local dignitaries and Schneider Electric executives.
During this ceremony, the attendees signed a construction beam, which will be implanted as part of the essential building framework.

As The Press reported earlier in the week, the plant will produce electrical equipment for EV charging and net zero buildings.
The plant would become net zero and will use modern technology to reduce energy waste and maximise the use of renewable energy.
Three-tenths of its energy would come from solar energy, with solar panels covering half of the roof.
Schneider Electric currently employs 450 people at its existing site on Cayton Low Road, Easfield.
The new facility, plus a £7.2m upgrade of its Leeds site, will create more than 300 new jobs in the region.
