Bruberrie Café and Bar in York has 'something for everyone'

So says Naiya Arora, who opened Bruberrie Café and Bar in The Mount in March of this year alongside her partner.

The Bruberrie Café and Bar interior (Image: Kevin Glenton) The couple have 40 years combined experience in the hospitality industry and since opening have seen their specialities of all day breakfasts and brunches go down well with the locals and tourists who stay in the local B&Bs.

Naiya said: “Parts of the menu are influenced by Middle Eastern and Korean cuisine, as well as the traditional British styles.

“We also cater for corporate events, parties and functions as well as film shoots and weddings.”

Speciality hot drinks are available and the café is licensed too (Image: Suele Barreto) Bruberrie Café and Bar, open seven days a week, is also licensed, and, alongside its three chefs employs barristas to serve lattes, a strong suit from the hot drinks menu.

Naiya said all ingredients are locally sourced as much as possible.

“There is so much on offer and something for everybody in this part of York.”
