TWO people were sent to hospital, with one released from a vehicle by emergency services, after a crash in a village near York.
Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said a man was released using hydraulic cutting gear from the crash in Hull Road, the A1079, at Wilberfoss, yesterday afternoon (September 10) around 1.15pm.
A spokesperson for the service said a woman from the one vehicle had managed to release herself prior to their arrival.
They said: “Both casualties were conveyed to hospital by the Ambulance Service.
“One vehicle was made safe by disconnecting the battery.
“The incident was left with the Police.”
