A MAJOR road connecting York to nearby villages has been reopend following a crash.
The A1079, Gale Hill, which connects York and Hull was blocked in both ways earlier this afternoon.
This is after an accident which took place between Main Street (Wilberfoss) and Sutton Lane (Barmby Moor).
