More than 500 classic vehicles are to go on show in York as a popular event returns.
York Historic Vehicle Group will hold its annual rally from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, September 15, at York Racecourse.
This will be the rally’s 46th year in York.
Last year’s event brought everything from old buses to Rolls-Royce cars and classic motorcycles as more than 700 vehicles filled the site.
David Walker, one of the organisers, said the team is “very excited” with preparations now well underway.
Ten club stands will be at the event, he explained, with vehicles set to arrive “thick and fast” early on the day.
“It is hard work, but we have an enjoyable day and it takes until six o'clock to clear and dismantle the field of dreams, then off to the pub,” David added.
Public entry is priced at £4 for adults, £3 for OAPs and children, and under 12s go free.
