A CRASH which closed one lane of a major road in North Yorkshire has now been cleared.
One lane of the A46 was closed with slow traffic due to an overturned vehicle and an accident in the westbound carriageway at Barton Hill crossroads between York and Malton.
It's not known whether anyone has been injured in the incident, and drivers were being asked to avoid the area if at all possible.
But the road has now reopened.
