Police have issued a photograph of two people they want to speak to after a man and woman left a restaurant in a North Yorkshire coastal town without paying.
The man and a woman went to Al Taco in Baxtergate, Whitby, on Wednesday, August 14, with what officers believe to have been their family, ordered four adult meals and two drinks but failed to settle the bill, North Yorkshire Police said.
Officers urge anyone who recognises the man and woman pictured to get in touch as they might have information about the incident.
“If you recognise them, please email Ruth.atkins@northyorkshire.police.uk,” a police spokesperson said.
“Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC1371 Ruth Atkins, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
