A TEENAGE girl has been attacked in York, say the police.
North Yorkshire Police said the female victim was left with bruising on her face and chest after being assaulted by one teenage girl and two teenage boys in Heworth.
The force said the incident happened around 3.30pm on August 22 on the South Beck Footpath, off Byland Avenue.
North Yorkshire Police said the suspects are believed to be in their mid to late teens.
The force said it is appealing for information about any witnesses who may have seen the incident or people acting suspiciously in this area during this time.
