Updated: AA Traffic News is reporting that the A1079 is re-opened in both directions at Shiptonthorpe after a crash earlier today (September 2).
A CRASH has blocked a major road in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The A1079 road from York to Hull is blocked both ways with queueing traffic from the A614 at the Shiptonthorpe Roundabout to Shipton Lane.
