Fire crews were called to an allotment fire in York.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said that crews from York and Acomb were dispatched to the incident at 5.44pm yesterday (August 31).
Upon arrival, they found a stack of hay - around four by four metres in size - on fire.
They managed to bring it under control using a hose reel and pitchforks, and have scheduled a visit for this morning.
