Another fire in York has been started deliberately, according to emergency crews.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to Alcuin Avenue, near Hull Road, at 10.11pm last night (August 31).
They said a pile of rubbish was on fire near the football pitches, and that a group of youths had started the fire deliberately.
Crews extinguished the fire.
