Emergency crews have been called to rescue a cow that fell in a river.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service dispatched crews from York and Malton after receiving the call at 10.32am today (August 31).
They said that they were joined by an animal rescue team.
The cow was rescued safely, and returned to its owners.
