A man was taken to hospital after an attack in York city centre, say police.
North Yorkshire Police said it happened in Bridge Street at around 10.30pm on Sunday, August 25.
The man in his 20s was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A force spokesperson said: “A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
“He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
“Witnesses or anyone with information that could assist the investigation are urged to come forward.”
