A man reported missing from his York home has been found safe and well, police said.
The 48-year-old was reported missing after not making contact since Friday, August 16.
On Tuesday (August 27) North Yorkshire Police issued an urgent appeal to find the man , saying he also had links to South Yorkshire and Cleveland.
But later that day the force confirmed that he had been found safe and well.
"We are very pleased to report that he has been found safe and well," a police spokesperson said.
"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
