Emergency services were called to a fire in a woodland area near York.
Firefighters were on the scene in Rufforth at about 5.50pm yesterday (Friday, August 23).
The crew, from Acomb, arrived and found “remnants of a fire” and dampened down the area using a hose reel jet, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
