A man was punched in the face and assaulted on the floor during a robbery in a North Yorkshire town, police said.
The victim was approached by a man with brown hair between the Nelson Inn and Ousegate Lodge in Ousegate, Selby, at about 8.45pm on Thursday (8).
He then said he was chased down the street before being assaulted on the floor, North Yorkshire Police said.
The force is appealing for information and video footage of the robbery.
“The victim was wearing black track suit bottoms and a zip-up dark coloured hoodie. He has long brown hair and had an injury to the left side of his face,” a police spokesperson said.
“No other details are known about the suspect.”
