Police are investigating reports of a “loud bang” in a North Yorkshire town.
The reports led police officers and firefighters to a property in Knaresborough Road, Harrogate, at about 8.45pm yesterday (August 8).
But they found no signs of a fire or explosion after arriving at the scene. There were also no injuries reported, North Yorkshire police said.
The force is urging anyone with information about the noise to get in touch by calling 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting reference number 12240143140.
“We're particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage in the area - this can be submitted to us online,” a police spokesperson added.
