Billy Johnson, 27, of no fixed address, was jailed for 20 weeks after he pleaded guilty to carrying a knife and two charges of assaulting a police emergency worker in Crombie Avenue, Clifton. He must pay £100 compensation to each police officer.
Helen Richardson, 44, of Main Street, Fulford, pleaded guilty to assault. She was given a community order with 10 days’ rehabilitative activities and ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £114 statutory surcharge.
Simon Corner, 55, of Tranby Avenue, Osbaldwick, pleaded guilty to assault and was given a 12-month community order with 25 days’ rehabilitative activities and 120 hours’ unpaid work. He was made subject to a 12-month restraining order banning him from contacting a woman or going to anywhere she was and ordered to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £114 statutory surcharge.
Scott Berkley, 49, of Burnsall Drive, Holgate, York, pleaded guilty to using threatening words or behaviour at Sainsbury’s on Fulford Road, York, and possessing benzodiazepine and was given a 12-month community order with 20 days’ rehabilitative activities and a 12-month ban from the Sainsburys’ store. He must pay £85 prosecution costs.
