EMERGENCY services were at the scene of a crash on the A171 high on the North York Moors at Ugthorpe near Whitby earlier today.
The crash, which happened at 6.32 this morning, is believed to have involved only a single vehicle.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: “A crew from Lythe responded to a report of a road traffic collision.
"Upon arrival and following further investigation all occupants were found to be out of their vehicles. Crews continued to assist police and ambulance and carried out scene safety within the area of the incident."
