Located on Stonegate in the heart of York, Plush is the quirkiest café in the city. Owners, managers and siblings Jaydene, Kyle and Keegan had a vision for a café with different themed rooms to create a unique experience that they felt customers in York were missing.

The final product: three different rooms put together entirely by the trio! These rooms? The Boho room, a beautiful Bohemian themed room with soft lighting, stunning design and floor pillow seating.

The Neon room has a fun design with a leopard statue hidden in the fireplace, LED lighting scaling the ceiling and a nook seat with a sofa. This room also accommodates pets if you’re looking to take a furry friend along for the experience!

The final room, and the most popular, is the Garden room. Guests are always amazed looking in here as the managers have built swings to add a unique twist into the room!

The staff adore working at Plush, which guests can feel when being greeted by warm smiles as they walk through the door.

They are more than happy to share recommendations for the delicious food and drinks that will be served to the customer’s table.

When asked, the floor staff all recommended the rainbow bagels (yes, they are actually rainbow!), and the kitchen staff recommended the Pollock Nachos.

There are also waffles and pancakes served for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Drinks wise, there is a large range of coffees, teas and hot chocolates, as well as milkshakes and freakshakes. The Candy mountains taste as amazing as they look, the chai is some of the best in the city and the blueberry latte is to die for!

As well as offering food and drink, there are also other services offered including Bottomless Brunch, Afternoon Tea, and All You Can Eat Waffles! The quirky boutique store at the front is perfect for any homeware addicts, with adorable knickknacks.

Manager Keegan describes Plush as the family’s “baby” and says the café has brought them all together as well as introducing her to some of her favourite people. This passion can be felt by everyone in the building.
