Emergency services were called to the scene after waste inside a bin lorry caught fire in North Yorkshire.
Two fire crews responded to the call at 9.16am today (Tuesday, December 12) in Landing Lane, Riccall.
They dampened down the contents of the lorry but were unable to find the source of the fire, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
The crews followed the bin lorry to a depot where the load was tipped out and dampened down to ensure the fire was extinguished.
The incident was then left in the hands of the depot staff.
