A ROAD through North Yorkshire is closed after a crash.
North Yorkshire Police have put out a traffic alert warning drivers that they're currently dealing with a serious crash in Selby area on the A63 between Monk Fryston and Hambleton.

A police spokesman said: "The road is closed and is expected to be for some time.
"Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible."
It's due to an accident between Austfield Lane and Fox Lane.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service say they were called out to the scene at 2.49pm.
A spokesman said: "Crews from Selby and Tadcaster responded to a serious road traffic collision on the A63.
"The incident was left in hands of police and ambulance on scene."
