A TEAM of 15 York swimmers claimed 36 individual medals at the Yorkshire Open Masters Gala at Scarborough.
The squad of nine men and six women won 12 gold medals, 14 silver and ten bronze in the individual races.
In the relays, York scooped an additional three gold, six silver and one bronze.
The outstanding swimmers were Duncan Brown, with four gold medals and one silver, and Karen Burdass with a gold, a silver and a bronze. Both were also involved in the relay medal success.
