A MAIN road in North Yorkshire was blocked for several hours last night after a crash.
The A661 Harrogate Road in Spofforth, near Wetherby, was blocked both ways following a collision between Castle Street and Stockeld Park.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said crews from Harrogate were called by police to attend a two vehicle crash, which happened at 10.12pm yesterday evening.
It said that on their arrival, everyone was out of the vehicles, with no one trapped.
Crews made the vehicles safe and left the incident with police.
The service did not indicate the nature or severity of any injuries.
