Rufforth Netball Club are holding a free taster session for youngsters who will be joining Year 7 in September.
Anyone currently in Year 6, who is keen to learn new netball skills or further their existing abilities, is welcome to come along to Rufforth netball courts on Tuesday, June 10, between 6pm and 7pm.
Weekly training sessions then start in September, costing £1 per player.
The club enter the York Youth League Tournaments which are held throughout the season- from September until March.
As well as learning to train, the sessions will also work on speed, agility, footwork and ball control, plus also providing youngsters with a chance to make new friends, gain match experience and join trips to watch the England netball squad in action.
All coaches are qualified and have CRB clearance. No previous experience is necessary.
