POLICE have launched an investigation after a man indecently exposed himself to a woman as she was walking through an East Yorkshire wood.

Humberside Police said that the woman was walking through a wooded area of Fieldfare, Driffield, at 8.45am yesterday when a man walked past her indecently exposed.

"He then left in the direction of New Walk, Driffield," said a spokesperson.

"The man is described as white and approximately 6ft tall believed to be in his late 20’s. He had dark hair and at the time was wearing a white t-shirt, khaki shorts and bronze aviator sunglasses."

They said officers were appealing for information from the public as they investigate the incident.

"Anyone with information that may assist our inquiries is asked to please call our non-emergency 101 line quoting log number 122 of 20 July,"they said.
