The Yorkshire division of Bellway Homes has seen one of its newest site managers recognised for his exceptional standards by the National House Building Council (NHBC).

Karl Laverick , 37, who works on Bellway’s Ambler’s Grange development in his home town of Pocklington, was picked from over 10,000 site managers around the UK to receive one of the prestigious Pride in the Job Awards.

The achievement is even more impressive as Karl has only been a site manager for two years and Ambler’s Grange is his first development.

Melanie Smith, Bellway Yorkshire’s sales director, said: “Ambler’s Grange is one of our biggest and busiest developments and the effort put in by Karl and his team over the last 12-months has been astonishing. They’ve built consistently at volume to an extremely high standard and thoroughly deserve this national recognition.”

Now, Karl is in the running to be NHBC’s site manager of the year.

Being built off Pocklington’s Yapham Road, Ambler’s Grange will comprise 182 two, three, four and five bedrooms homes once complete. To date 131 of the homes have sold and interest in the remaining properties remains high. Prices range from £224,995 for a two-bedroom semi-detached home to £519,995 for a five-bedroom detached family home.
