I read that St. Peter's School is now allowed to build a footbridge over a public path (Private school wins bridge bid, February 4).
The school must be mighty relieved to be sealed off from the dangers outside.
Perhaps my Alma Mater hasn't quite grasped that she should justify her charity status by building bridges with the local community, not over it.
